I am also a registered examiner with Pearson.Throughout my career, I have worked with GCSE & A-level students of all abilities, helping them to build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve excellent outcomes in mathematics. My experience has given me an in-depth understanding of curricula, and exactly what is required for students to succeed in exams at the highest level.I am passionate about making maths accessible to all, and helping students overcome barriers to learning. I pride myself on being calm, patient and supportive, creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their thinking.My approach to tutoring is structured, supportive and tailored to each individual student.
I begin by identifying any gaps in understanding and areas of difficulty, then build a clear and secure foundation before moving on to more complex topics. I focus on helping students develop confidence as well as competence, as this is often the key to success in mathematics.Sessions typically include:

Above all, I aim to create a calm and positive learning environment where students feel supported and able to make consistent progress.I specialise in GCSE preparation (Foundation & Higher), with a proven track record of improving understanding & attainment, and building student confidence.
